Before: a location in the center of Cluj, in a century-old building
After: nuka- bistro soul, wine / branding and visual identity: a friendly new brand, with a soft, nostalgic core
 
The vintage air of the place inspired us to come up with a warm, affectionate name :"nuka".  The delicious ingredient from grandma's incredible cookies, the walnut kernel, reminds us of childhood games, comfortable sofas and favorite dishes. The visual identity mirrors the simplicity and the quiet elegance of the place: The font Helvetica balances the logo and makes it simple and friendly and for the rest of the communication we used simple fonts without serifs. For the 3 menus we chose 3 different colors of recycled cardboard: avorio, camoscio si tabacco. For a more cushy reading, we printed them in one piece and folded them in 3.
 
The street sign is made of 1 cm rough iron and left to rust naturally.
 
Nuka Bistro is a nice, warm and nostalgic brand, one that you make friends with at first...bite.
